Solace is an application intended to help users find comfort and safety in any situation. Your data, privacy, and security are very important to us.
In order to use Solace, you will have to provide your location, phone number, name, and allow permission for the app to access your camera, notifications, and photo library.To best use Solace, you have the option to provide your current location, as well as permissions for camera and photo library access. This information and access are not required to use Solace, and are only used to provide you with accurate information about resources near you. Your current location is used to provide information about the closest shelters and hotlines, and the camera and photo library permissions enable users to take photos and send them to other users through Solace messaging.
All information collected is entirely private to the user. No data is stored online, and Solace cannot view or access your data. Other users of Solace only have access to information (such as current location or photos) that users choose to share. Once you delete the app from your phone, your data is wiped clean from the device.
Solace uses encryption to keep your data safe. Users have the option to password protect Solace. You must enter the correct password to access the application. To protect user privacy and safety, we do not provide a password recovery mechanism.
